Today had rough edges.
But, Dad and I went to hear my cousin John’s symphony play at the U of M and it was really beautiful.
Ted Mann let us use his auditorium for free and watched over us with his creepy, entitled air even though he had to pee very badly.
After the symphony’s first piece, Dad turned to me and said: ’Wow! That was great. This is a lot better than a high school band concert!’ So, now I know where we ranked…..
The music was gorgeous and John played some kick ass oboe.
Aunt Rosemary’s GPS took her to the Guthrie instead, but she outfoxed it and made it for the end.
Dad had a great idea to get fried Brains from the Song Garden at 9:50pm.
Pat did hilarious impressions of Julia Child’s arms flying off.
My toothbrush is buried under a plaster saw, a soap dish, and some wood, so I’m off the hook.
